For a couple weeks, I’ve been thinking of pitching a story to one of the magazines I read, on yogis and their tattoos. I’d always found tattoos beautiful but, since I started practicing yoga, I’ve noticed that almost all yogis have them. It got me thinking about why that was, and what their tattoos mean to them.

Then, this morning, I saw this in my Tumblr feed. My first thought was “Poop! I didn’t act fast enough!” But aside from the introductory paragraph, this is just a (very beautiful/awesome) slideshow, and I’d like to delve deeper.

Before I pitch my story, I’d like to collect photos of fellow yogis who’d be willing to be interviewed/photographed for a magazine story. I feel it will strengthen my pitch, as I’ve never written for this mag before. If anyone here is interested, please email me! Thanks y’all! :)
